Certified Divorce Financial Analyst ® professional Susan V. Boehm Begins New Service for Divorcing Couples in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 2, 2017) – The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA™) is pleased to announce that Susan V. Boehm of Equitable Advisors / Karr Barth Associates, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania recently completed a specialized educational program in professional pre-divorce analysis and is now a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) professional.

Ms. Boehm is trained to help provide a variety of knowledge related to the financial information and offers assistance to people going through a divorce. She helps identify tax issues and offers solutions on dividing retirement assets and pensions.  She can also assist in determining the financial impact of various settlement options for dividing other marital property and child and spousal support payments.

“We help determine the short-term and long-term financial impact of a proposed divorce settlement to make sure it works now as well as down the road,” says Sue Boehm, CDFA®. “We examine and analyze the financial issues of a divorce, providing our clients and their lawyers with data that may help strengthen their case. We help our clients avoid the common financial pitfalls of divorce by offering valuable insight into the pros and cons of different settlement proposals.”

The IDFA™ trains financial professionals, accountants, and lawyers to determine the financial needs and outcomes for couples of pre-divorce financial planning.

Founded in 1993, the IDFA™ currently has more than 5,000 CDFA® professionals across the United States and Canada. The number of professionals receiving the CDFA® designation continues to grow at nearly 15% each year. The designation and this niche industry are expanding rapidly as more people across the country search for alternative pre-divorce processes – from collaborative law to mediation – rather than litigating their case using lawyers as their only line of defense. For more information about the IDFA™ or the CDFA® designation, visit www.institutedfa.com.
